No trip to Cape Town would be complete without a visit to the top of Table Mountain.
It's possible to travel up and down by cable car or take one of the many hiking trails. Once on top you will enjoy stunning views of Cape Town and the surrounding areas. There are several marked paths that allow us to explore the top of the mountain and nature highlights usually include Rock Hyrax, Orange Breasted Sunbirds and an abundance of flora. There is also a restaurant and gift shop on top close to the cableway station. Visits to Table Mountain are always on a "weather permitting" basis so a flexible time table is advised just in case timings have to be changed.
