The Cape of Good Hope

This tour starts with a scenic drive through Hout Bay and along the stunning Chapman's Peak Drive. From here we travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, that is home to a vast array of unique Flora & Fauna.  Here we can see a variety of wildlife that includes Baboons, Bontebok, Eland, Ostrich and the elusive Mountain Zebra.  Birdwatchers will also enjoy dicovering a few new species. At the shore of the peninsula the two oceans meet and it is here that lunch can be enjoyed in the aptly named Two Oceans Restaurant. You could also choose to enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the relaxing picnic sites along the coast. Other highlights include, Vasco da Gamma's and Bartolomeu Dias's crosses and The Flying Dutchman Funicular that lifts you 238 metres above the ocean, to the lighthouse; the ride offers the most breathtaking panoramic views. And of course there is the not to be missed photo opportunity at Cape Point. Upon leaving the reserve we follow the coastline along False Bay calling in at Simon’s Town where we will visit the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. After a full day of touring we will return to Cape Town in the early evening.
