This unique tour begins with wine tasting that's conducted in immacuale surroundings at an award winning environmentally friendly Wine Estate. The tasting is very relaxed and informative and there are no restrictions with regard to which wines can be sampled. Tasting is followed by an exciting game drive that lasts approximately 2 hours. A local guide will conduct the game drive in an open vehicle and visitors are usually guaranteed close up sightings of a number of animals such as, Springbok, Kudu, Giraffe, Bontebok, Eland, Gemsbok, Black Wildebeest, Plains Zebra, Steenbuck and Oryx. There are also smaller more elusive animals living in the sanctuary such as Bat Eared Fox, Porcupine, Mongoose and Caracal.
As well as mammals there is a huge diversity of birdlife attracted by the numerous dams and the marshland.
On a clear day there are beautiful views of the mountains overlooking the Cape Winelands.
