Hout Bay

This quaint harbor on the western side of the Cape Peninsula has a seaside charm that attracts both travelers and locals. Visitors can enjoy exploring the docks and it is from here that we visit Seal Island. The boat trip to the Island takes about 30 minutes where the wild seal colony can be easily observed from the boat. Depending on weather conditions and the time of year Whales & Dolphins are also sometimes spotted. After your excursion you may want to enjoy some fresh seafood at the bay’s Mariner’s Wharf before we depart along the Chapman's Peak Drive.  This tour can be extended to a full day to include a visit to The Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden.
