Wildlife & Wine

This is a unique opportunity to enjoy a day that includes a game drive and wine tasting at an award winning environmentally friendly Wine Estate.
This family run winery in the Stellenbosch region of the Cape is a pioneering quality wine company committed to preserving the environment and in conjunction with its neighbours they set aside 220ha of land as a wildlife sanctuary.

 

A game drive lasts approximately 2 hours and visitors are guaranteed close up sightings of a number of animals such as, Springbuck, Kudu, Giraffe, Bontebok, Eland, Gemsbok, Black Wildebeest, Plains Zebra and Gemsbok.

 

There are also smaller more elusive animals living in the sanctuary such as Bat Eared Fox, Porcupine, Mongoose and Caracal.

 

As well as the animals there is a huge diversity of birdlife attracted by the 12 dams and the marshland.

 

On a clear day there are beautiful views of the mountains overlooking the Cape Winelands.
